Anna Goebel

Anna Goebel is a Professor at the Poznań University of Art, where she teaches in the Faculty of Painting and Drawing and runs the Artistic Textile Workshop. Her career spans over four decades, with a focus on spatial compositions, experimental textiles, and ephemeral open-space art projects.

• Education: Graduated from the State Higher School of Fine Arts (now Poznań University of Art) in 1977, studying under Prof. Magdalena Abakanowicz and Prof. Jan Węcławski.
• International Engagements: Visiting professor at universities in Australia, the USA, and Israel; represented Polish textile art at major international exhibitions including Lausanne Biennial, Kyoto Biennial, and Łódź Triennial.
• Awards: Recipient of the 1997 Pollock-Krasner Foundation Scholarship and multiple scholarships from Poland's Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
• Projects: Participated in land art projects in Switzerland, Slovakia, Australia, Italy, USA, and Israel.

Her work intersects disciplines such as textile art, sculpture, and performance, emphasizing material experimentation and environmental interaction.
