Anna Foshee is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Theatre at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), part of the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a B.A. in Dance from The University of Alabama, where she trained under notable instructors and performed with the Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre. Currently, she serves as Artistic Director of Sanspointe Dance Company (SDC), a role she has held since 2015, and has been a company member since 2009. Her professional engagements include performances in film (e.g., The Last of Robin Hood with Dakota Fanning) and music videos (e.g., St. Paul and The Broken Bones' All I Ever Wanted). At UAB, she teaches Jazz dance courses, emphasizing individualized movement exploration.
