Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak is the Regius Professor of Medicine at the University of Glasgow, leading the Institute of Cardiovascular & Medical Sciences. She is also an Honorary Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and Chief Scientist (Health) for the Scottish Government. Her academic career includes directing the British Heart Foundation Cardiovascular Research Centre (2000–2010) and serving as Vice-Principal and Head of the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (2010–2020). She established the Glasgow Lighthouse Laboratory and played a pivotal role in the UK-wide Lighthouse Network during the pandemic.
