Ann Wortinger

Ann Wortinger is a Lecturer and Content Development Coordinator in the Department of Rural Resilience and Innovation at Appalachian State University. A credentialed veterinary technician since 1983, she holds triple Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) certifications in Emergency/Critical Care (2000), Small Animal Internal Medicine (2008), and Nutrition (2013), along with Elite Fear Free certification (2020). She is active in national and specialty veterinary organizations and contributes to veterinary education curriculum development.
