Ann-Sofi Röj-Lindberg

Ann-Sofi Röj-Lindberg is a Senior Lecturer at Åbo Akademi University's Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies, Department of Education. Her research focuses on mathematics education, democratic competence, cross-disciplinary teaching, and innovative educational practices. She has led or co-investigated projects like Överdid -跨学科 didactics (2022-2025) and Social Robots in School Mathematics Practice (2022-2023), funded by Svenska Kulturfonden and Högskolestiftelsen i Österbotten.

Her work examines democracy in Finnish classrooms, socio-ecological integration in mathematics education, and the role of social robots in teaching.
