Ann Schofield Baker is Professor of Law from Practice at New York Law School, where she also serves as Faculty Advisor to the Moot Court Association. With over 20 years of practice as a partner in AmLaw Top 50 firms, she has represented clients in high-stakes litigation involving intellectual property rights, copyright, trademark, and patent disputes across industries including fashion, technology, and entertainment. She maintains an active pro bono practice focused on asylum cases.
Her research interests center on intellectual property litigation, complex commercial disputes, and effective trial advocacy techniques. She lectures nationally and internationally on civil and intellectual property litigation developments.
Professor Baker has been recognized for her professional contributions, including being featured among New York's Women Leaders in the Law and receiving the Defense Verdict of the Year award. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of New York and co-chairs the Fashion Law Affinity Group of the National Association of Women Lawyers.
