Ann Marie Brink serves as Associate Professor of Viola at DePaul University's School of Music, previously holding the position of Associate Principal Viola with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra from 1999 to 2019. Her international performance career spans prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Aspen Music Festival, Library of Congress, and Bravo! Vail Music Festival.
Her educational background includes:
- Bachelor of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music
- Master of Music, The Juilliard School (awarded the William Schuman Prize)
As a chamber musician, she has performed with the Amernet String Quartet (praised by The New York Times), collaborated with the Cavani String Quartet, and participated in Isaac Stern's Chamber Music Workshop. Her artistic focus centers on viola performance practice, chamber music interpretation, and string pedagogy.
Her honors include:
- Nakamichi Foundation Concerto Competition First Prize
- Florence Allan Award at Carmel Chamber Music Competition

Ms. Brink maintains an active teaching profile through DePaul University, Roundtop Festival, and Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, while serving as Treasurer of the American Viola Society. She also integrates community service through seven years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children in Dallas.
Beyond music, she is a competitive U.S. Masters swimmer (completing the 10-mile Maui Channel Swim twice), marathon runner (11 marathons including Boston and New York), and culinary enthusiast with training at Florence's Apicius Culinary Institute.
