Ann Hubert

Ann Hubert is an Associate Professor in the English Department at St. Lawrence University. Her academic work focuses on medieval and early modern British literature, with a particular emphasis on the interplay between drama and religious preaching in fifteenth- and sixteenth-century England. She also teaches courses in Greek and Roman mythology.

Research & Projects:

Dr. Hubert’s current research centers on the cultural and religious dynamics of medieval performances, particularly in her book project Division of Parts: Preaching and Playing in Medieval East Anglia, which examines connections between didactic preaching and theatrical practices in East Anglia during the late medieval and early Renaissance periods.
