Ann-Frances Cameron is a Full Professor in the Department of Information Technology at HEC Montréal's School of Business, where she holds the prestigious Canada Research Chair in Digital Communication and Multitasking Behavior and is an active member of the Information Systems Research Group (GReSI).
Her educational background includes an M.Sc. in Management and a Ph.D. in Information Systems, both earned at Queen's University. This strong academic foundation has positioned her as a leading researcher in digital communication and human-technology interaction.
Professor Cameron's research focuses on understanding how digital technologies transform communication patterns and work practices. Her expertise spans inter-organizational and intra-organizational communication, virtual team dynamics, the impacts of emerging communication technologies, and multitasking behaviors in digital environments. She examines how people interact with technology across various contexts including pedestrian safety, healthcare delivery, and workplace productivity.
