Ann Fletchall

Ann Fletchall is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Geography at the Mississippi University for Women, affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences and the Department of History, Political Science, and Geography.

• Education: B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College; M.A. and Ph.D. from Arizona State University.

Her teaching focuses on World Geography, upper-level regional geography courses, Population Geography, and Economic Geography. Her research explores televisual geographies, sense of place, and cultural landscapes, with publications analyzing themes like media's role in place representation, postmodern tourism spaces, and sociocultural memory.
