Anke Patzelt is a Part-Time Professor in the Department of Sociological and Anthropological Studies at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Social Sciences. Her research focuses on international migration, integration, identity construction, diaspora, transnationalism, citizenship, and globalization. She examines the mobility patterns of highly-skilled migrants between Europe and Canada to inform strategies for social cohesion and nation-building in Canada.
