Anju R. Gupta

Dr. Anju R. Gupta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Toledo, leading the Interfacial Thermal and Transport Laboratory (ITTL). Her work bridges fundamental interfacial science with sustainable applications in energy, environmental, and biomedical fields.

Her educational background includes:

• M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute
• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Rhode Island

Research focuses on interfacial thermal transport phenomena, with core interests in coatings for heat transfer, cell membrane interactions, self-assembling systems, and emulsion engineering. The ITTL lab integrates experimental, modeling, and AI-driven approaches to develop sustainable solutions for drug delivery, oil spill mitigation, and advanced thermal management systems.
