Prof. Dr. Anjana Devi is the newly appointed Director of the Institute for Materials Chemistry (IMC) at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research (IFW) Dresden and Chair of Materials Chemistry at the Technical University of Dresden. With a focus on precursor chemistry and scalable synthesis of 2D materials via ALD/MOCVD processes, her research bridges synthetic chemistry and materials chemistry to advance sustainable technologies.
- Establishing a competence center for atomic layer deposition through the ASPIRE2D project
- Collaborations with leading research groups and industries in ALD/CVD
Her work emphasizes scalable synthesis, heterostructures, and nanostructured surfaces for applications in electronics and energy systems. At IFW Dresden, she leads interdisciplinary efforts from theoretical calculations to experimental material development.
