Anja Sommer

Anja Sommer is a Medical Educator at the Institute for General Medicine, part of the Medical Faculty at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU). She is affiliated with LMU Hospital and contributes to teaching and continuing education programs in general medicine, including curriculum development and seminars for medical students. Her work extends to public health initiatives such as the Bavarian Outpatient Covid-19 Monitor (BaCoM) and community-based healthcare projects.

Research Focus: General medicine, primary care delivery, epidemiology, and health services research. She participates in practice networks and quality improvement programs like the Pharmacotherapy Quality Circle (PTQZ) and Mental Health Hotline.
