Anja Klein is a Senior Lecturer in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament at the University of Edinburgh's School of Divinity. She holds a PhD and Habilitation from the University of Göttingen, with expertise in biblical exegesis, religious history, and theology. Her research focuses on topics like the Book of Ezekiel, history and prayer, and historical interpretation of religious texts.
Background: Since 2017, she has been a Senior Lecturer at Edinburgh. Previously, she was a Chancellor's Fellow in Biblical Studies (2013–2017) and earned her Habilitation with the work *Geschichte und Gebet* (2014).
