Dr Anishka Gheewala is a social anthropologist affiliated with the Department of Anthropology at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Her expertise encompasses Hindu movements, kinship, childhood, and digital Hindu life, with a focus on diasporic communities and religious practices. She conducted fieldwork in Gujarat, India, and Leicester, UK, exploring themes of prayer, play, and the human-divine relationship.
