Animesh Agarwal is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA), affiliated with the Trauma Division of the Department of Orthopaedics. He serves as a practicing orthopaedic surgeon at San Antonio’s only civilian Level I Trauma Center. Dr. Agarwal earned his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, followed by his M.D. and residency in Orthopaedics at UTHSCSA. He completed a trauma fellowship at Grant Medical Center (Columbus, Ohio) before joining UTHSCSA’s clinical faculty in 1997.
