Anil Hormis is an Honorary Professor at Sheffield Hallam University since 2017 and a Consultant in Anaesthesia, Critical Care, and Pre-hospital Emergency Medicine. He specializes in Orthopaedic Anaesthesia, Regional Anaesthesia, and Major Trauma Anaesthesia. His clinical training includes roles at the Royal London Hospital, London Air Ambulance, and Yorkshire/Lincs & Notts Air Ambulances. He holds executive roles in the British Society for Orthopaedic Anaesthetists (BSOA) and the Resus Council UK's ALS Sub-Committee. He contributed to national guidelines, including NICE's Inhaled Sedation evaluation.
