Aniko Horvath

Aniko Horvath is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Organization Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Researcher at the Centre for Global Higher Education, University of Oxford. She holds a PhD in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Central European University. Her research focuses on higher education governance, system-level dynamics, marketization, and inequalities within academia, complemented by studies in urban anthropology and social reproduction.

Her expertise includes theories of organization and governance, qualitative methods, and nationalism studies.
