Anh Nguyen

Dr Anh Nguyen is a Lecturer in Computer Science and Bioinformatics, coordinating modules such as Robot Perception and Manipulation (COMP341) and supervising research theses on spatial-temporal modeling for action recognition and deep learning applications in data analysis.

Research interests span

• Machine learning for biomedical data (RNA-seq, microbiome analysis)
• Autonomous robotics and endovascular navigation
• Federated learning in healthcare imaging
• Human action recognition and network modeling

Recent publications highlight work on zero-shot learning for epitranscriptomes, shape-sensitive loss functions in medical imaging, and over-parameterization in graph convolutional networks.
