Ánh-Hoa Thị Nguyễn is a Lecturer in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences at St. Catherine University. A refugee, poet, and community artist, she holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Mills College. Her creative and scholarly work explores Vietnamese American identity, refugee experiences, and cultural memory through poetry, essays, and public art installations.
Nguyễn's publications appear in anthologies including 'Troubling Borders: Southeast Asian Women in the Diaspora' and 'What We Hunger For: Refugee and Immigrant Stories about Food and Family'. Her notable project 'Waves Enfolding: A Paper Memorial' honored Vietnamese refugee experiences through public art. As a member of the collective She Who Has No Master(s), she collaborates with Vietnamese diasporic writers.
