Angharad Truman

Angharad Truman is an Associate Professor in Restorative Dentistry at Peninsula Dental School (Faculty of Health) within the University of Plymouth. She also serves as an NHS Consultant in Restorative Dentistry for Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and holds an Honorary Consultant position in the same field. As Program Leader and Module Leader for two modules of the Periodontology MSc, she plays a key role in postgraduate education.

Clinical and Academic Focus: Her work spans restorative dentistry, with a particular emphasis on managing oral congenital abnormalities through multidisciplinary collaboration. She is a General Dental Council (GDC)-registered specialist in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics, and currently acts as the Honorary Secretary for the British Society for Restorative Dentistry.
