Angelo Zago is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Verona, where he has established himself as a prominent researcher in industrial economics and applied microeconomics.
He earned his PhD in Agricultural & Resource Economics from the University of Maryland (USA), and has maintained a strong academic presence at the University of Verona while also serving as a visiting scholar at institutions including Copenhagen, Paris, New York, Cambridge, Toulouse, and Brisbane.

Dr. Zago has taught consistently since the 2001/2002 academic year, primarily offering Industrial Economics and Export Decisions, FDI, and Global Value Chains courses for both undergraduate and graduate programs. His office is located at Polo Santa Marta, Floor 1, Room 1.27, with regular office hours on Mondays from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
He actively participates in departmental governance as a member of the Economics Department Council, Teaching Committee, and various collegial bodies including those for Economics, Firms and International Markets, and International Economics and Business programs.
