Angelo Rivero Santos is a Teaching Professor and Director of Academic Affairs at Georgetown University's Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS), part of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He served as Interim Director of CLAS (AY 2022-23) and previously held leadership roles between 2003-2006. His roles include overseeing the M.A. in Latin American Studies and the Capstone Seminar. He also serves on Georgetown's School Council and Task Force for Undocumented Students.

His publications focus on migration challenges, sustainable development, and regional diplomacy. He is currently a member of Universidad de Chile's Revista Política editorial board. His career includes seven years as Deputy Chief of Mission at Venezuela's Embassy in Washington, D.C., and community leadership roles with CASA's Leadership Academy.
