About
Angelo Carollo is Associate Professor of Theoretical Physics at the University of Palermo. His research develops geometric approaches to quantum critical phenomena and topological matter.
Recent work establishes connections between non-Hermitian topology and quantum metrology, demonstrating enhanced sensing at exceptional points. Explores measurement-induced phase transitions in monitored quantum circuits and their relation to multipartite entanglement. Develops quantum optical platforms for topological state engineering.
Supervises graduate research on Josephson junction dynamics and stochastic quantum systems. Teaches graduate General Relativity and undergraduate Medical Physics courses.
