Dr. Angelo Battiston is a Senior Clinical Tutor and Unit Leader at the AECC School of Chiropractic, Health Sciences University. He specializes in clinical education and programme development, notably co-creating the MSc Advanced Professional Practice in Functional Musculoskeletal Health and the SPRiNT (Sport Injuries Intern Team) programme. His roles include teaching adjustive techniques, general diagnosis, and overseeing clinical training.
Qualifications include a BSc, DC, MSc (Sports & Rehabilitation), PG Cert (Medical Education), and certifications such as CCEP, ICSSD, and FHEA. He is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and General Chiropractic Council.
Research focuses on chiropractic’s impact on strength, perception, performance (especially in sports populations), and gait analysis. He serves as the chiropractor for AFCB Bournemouth Cherries Football Team and previously the Italian women’s rugby team (Azzurre).
Awarded Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), he advocates for evidence-based sports chiropractic and integrates biomechanical insights into clinical practice.
