Angelita RUVALCABA is a Professor at IÉSEG School of Management in France, affiliated with the Strategy and Sustainability track. She holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Sapienza Università di Roma (2022), an MSc in Applied Economics from El Colegio de la Frontera Norte (2008), and BAs in International Business (CETYS University, 2003) and International Finance (ESSCA School of Management, 2002).
Her professional experience includes roles as Head of Unit/Data Development Lead at the OECD (2021–2022), Economist/Statistician at the FAO (2014–2021), and Subdirector of Fiscal Studies at Mexico’s Ministry of Finance (2013–2014). She also served as a Researcher at the National Institute of Public Health (2010–2012) and a Teaching Assistant at Queen Mary University of London (2009–2010).
Her research interests span Strategy, Sustainability, and Public Policy, leveraging statistical methods to address economic and development challenges. She has received the Academic Merit Award from CETYS University (2003) and currently serves as an international consultant for the United Nations.
