Angela Stiegemeyer

Angela Stiegemeyer is a Lecturer in Nutrition at Southeast Missouri State University within the Allied Health, Kinesiology, & Sport Sciences school. She holds dual credentials as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Dietitian (RD) and has a strong focus on applied nutrition education.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeast Missouri State University
• Master of Arts in Human Environmental Studies (Dietetics Option) from University of Houston

Her research interests emphasize consumer-based nutrition education, dietary behavior analysis, life cycle nutrition (preconception to elder nutrition), and experiential learning approaches for practical application. She has served as President of the Southeast Dietetic Association (2008-2009).
