Angela Roothaan is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, specializing in Philosophy of Culture, Politics, and Organization. She holds a PhD from Universiteit van Amsterdam (1996) and degrees from Universiteit Leiden (Master: 1987, Bachelor: 1987). Her research focuses on African and Intercultural Philosophy, postcolonial theory, and spirit ontologies.
