Angela Renton

Angela Renton is a Research Fellow specializing in neuroimaging and perceptual processing. She completed her PhD in 2022 at The University of Queensland under Prof. Jason Mattingley, focusing on neurofeedback methods for visual perception. Currently, she contributes to the Neurodesk Project, advancing open science through reproducible neuroimaging tools. Her research explores closed-loop neuroimaging, M/EEG techniques, and applications to age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

Key research interests include visual perception mechanisms, feature-based attention, and the development of non-invasive brain interfaces. She has published in Nature Methods, Scientific Data, and The Journal of Neuroscience, emphasizing reproducible methodologies and open-source tools.
