Angela Reinoehl

Angela Reinoehl is a Senior Lecturer in Art History at the School of Art and Design, Southern Illinois University. She also serves as an independent curator and arts consultant, with expertise in modern and contemporary craft.

• Education: BA in Art History from Indiana University, MA in Art History, theory and criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago

Her research focuses on modern and contemporary craft, feminist performance art, and art criticism. She challenges traditional interpretations of 1970s feminist performance art through her academic work.

Reinoehl previously worked as Curator of Exhibitions at Craft Alliance in St. Louis. She has contributed articles to Art St. Louis Magazine and maintains an active role in art curation and consultation.
