Dr. Angela Parcesepe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Maternal and Child Health at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research focuses on the intersection of violence, mental health, substance use disorders, and HIV prevention/treatment in global settings, with a particular emphasis on low-resource regions. She chairs the Mental Health Working Group for the IeDEA Consortium and has received grants from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), including a $3.3M award to address undervaccination among individuals with anxiety/depression.
