Angela Long

Angela Long is a Part-time Professor at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law since 2019, specializing in legal research, writing, and advocacy. She previously served as a Director of Legal Research Programs and has extensive experience in curriculum development for judicial education.

• B.A. in Philosophy from Victoria University, University of Toronto
• LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School
• LL.M. in Health Law and Policy from University of Toronto

Her expertise includes plain language communication for legal professionals, legislative drafting, and science communication in judicial contexts. She co-developed the University of Alberta's inaugural legal research program and contributed to federal regulatory projects on tobacco control, medical marijuana, and consumer safety.
