Angela Knight

Angela Knight serves as an Associate Professor in the Funeral Service program at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she has held a continuous faculty position since 2006 after beginning her teaching career as an adjunct at Rose State College and UCO in 2003. Her responsibilities include teaching Psychology of Grief, Thanatology and Unresolved Grief, and The Natural History of Bereavement from her office in CHS 160, Box 186, with regular office hours maintained throughout the academic week.

Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma—where she completed the thesis "Evolutionary perspective on mate selection in males"—and a Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University.

Professor Knight's research program centers on grief studies and death education, with specialized focus on death anxiety measurement, bereavement processes, and the therapeutic impact of funeral services on grief recovery.
