Angela Bulloch

Angela Bulloch is a Professor of Time-Based Media at the HFBK Hamburg, focusing on conceptual works engaging systems and audience expectations. Her research integrates light, sound, and text, addressing themes like authorship and temporality.

Education: Studied at Goldsmiths College in London (1985–1988). Co-founder of BPA (Berlin Program for Artists). Since 2018, she has been based in Berlin and teaches at HFBK Hamburg.

Key Achievements: Internationally exhibited since the 1980s, with solo shows at institutions like Modern Art Oxford, Secession Wien, and Lenbachhaus Kunstbau. Nominated for prestigious awards, including the Turner Prize and Nationalgalerie Preis.
