Andy Leckie is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Programme Director for the Masters in Physician Associate Studies at Swansea University Medical School. He oversees admissions, assessment, curriculum development, clinical skills training, placements, and student experience. As Clinical Placement Lead, he focuses on advancing Physician Associate education in clinical practice. He also serves as a Physician Associate in General Practice in the Welsh valleys and has been an examiner for the Physician Associate National OSCE since 2022.
He teaches modules such as Clinical Skills and Placements and Foundations in Clinical Medicine, emphasizing core clinical competencies. His expertise includes assessment design, clinical skills development, and simulation-based training. He holds leadership roles in curriculum coordination and interprofessional education.
