Andy Hoffman

Andy Hoffman is the Holcim (US) Professor of Sustainable Enterprise at the University of Michigan, holding joint appointments in the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the School for Environment & Sustainability. He earned his PhD from MIT's Sloan School of Management and Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering in 1995, following earlier degrees from MIT (MS, 1991) and the University of Massachusetts Amherst (BS, 1983). His research focuses on the intersection of environmental issues, organizational behavior, and institutional dynamics, with particular emphasis on climate change, sustainability education, and the role of business in societal transformation.
