Andy Anderson

Andy Anderson is a visual arts educator and ceramicist who previously served as an Adjunct Instructor at Great Basin College while teaching at Lowry High School in Nevada, and currently teaches high school art while chairing the art department in Minnesota. He holds advanced credentials including an MA in Education from St. Catherine University.

His educational background includes:

• MAED, St. Catherine University
• B.S. in Visual Art Education K-12, University of Northwestern – St. Paul

Anderson's professional focus centers on ceramics and art education, with over two decades of experience creating functional wheel-thrown pottery since 1998. He founded Anderson Clayworks LLC in 2018 to produce and sell ceramics, actively participating in Twin Cities art markets while developing K-12 art curricula across elementary and secondary education levels.

His recognition includes:

• Teacher of the Year award from his school district (2014)

Anderson has demonstrated sustained commitment to arts education through 11 years coordinating district art shows and advising high school art clubs, while maintaining professional engagement through his ceramics enterprise and community art sales events.
