Andréa Lavigne

Dr. Andréa Lavigne serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning Studies at Université Laval's Faculty of Education (FSÉ). She is affiliated with the Joint Research Unit Synergia (UMR Synergia), focusing on adaptation and educational success for students with disabilities.

Her research specializes in inclusive education for neurodiverse learners, particularly examining:

• Teacher-student interactions with autistic and intellectually disabled students
• Multimodal communication strategies in classroom settings
• Sensory needs accommodation in educational environments
• Participatory research methods centering student voices
