András Bátkai is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Teacher Education Vorarlberg (PH Vorarlberg), Austria, holding the position since 2016. He served as Institute Director from 2017 to 2025. His academic credentials include a habilitation from ELTE Budapest (2007) and a doctorate from Tübingen (2000), complemented by guest professorships at Bergische Universität Wuppertal and research stays at international institutions.
