Dr. Andrzej Jekaterynczuk is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Cultural and Communication Studies, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS), Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology. His research focuses on ethnic identity, collective memory, migration dynamics, and intercultural relations in Central-Eastern Europe, particularly Poland-Ukraine borderlands.
His recent work examines Ukrainian refugee integration, multilevel governance of Russian-Ukrainian war impacts, and language identity among Ukrainian minorities in Poland. He leads the NCN MINIATURA 7 project on Social Inclusion Strategies and contributes to NAWA humanitarian crisis research.
