Andria Antoniou

Dr. Andria Antoniou is a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at Neapolis University Pafos since 2024. Her expertise lies in structural modeling using Finite Element and Discrete Element numerical analysis, with a focus on shielding infrastructure against extreme loads such as ballistic impacts and explosions.

Previously, she served as a researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (2020–2023) in Ballistic Engineering and as a postdoctoral researcher at University Grenoble Alpes (UGA), France (2019) in Impact Engineering. She also developed an online training course for the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) on impact, ballistic, and fluid-structure interaction simulations.
