Andrew Zhu, PA-C serves as Principal Faculty in the Master of Science Physician Assistant Program at The College of Mount Saint Vincent, leveraging over a decade of clinical experience in surgical and critical care subspecialties.
His educational background includes:
- Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, Touro College (Manhattan campus)
- Montefiore Postgraduate Physician Assistant Residency in Surgery
Mr. Zhu specializes in general surgery, vascular surgery, and multidisciplinary critical care including medical, neuro, and surgical critical care units. Certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Emergency Neurologic Life Support (ENLS), he currently practices as an ICU Physician Assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center while teaching Point-Of-Care Ultrasound in their Critical Care Symposium. His research interests focus on critical care procedures, ultrasound applications, and innovative medical education techniques for physician assistant training.
As an active Society of Critical Care Medicine member, he serves as a Fundamental Critical Care Support instructor and contributes to national critical care education standards through symposium leadership and clinical instruction.
