Andrew Yeudall

Andrew Yeudall is a Professor and Department Chair of Oral Biology at the Dental College of Georgia, with expertise in cancer biology, biochemistry, and oral biology. He holds a Ph.D. in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from the University of Glasgow (1991) and is a certified dentist by the General Dental Council (UK, 1986).

His research focuses on molecular mechanisms in cancer, particularly epithelial-mesenchymal transition, mitochondrial dynamics, and lipid metabolism in breast and oral cancers. Recent work explores vimentin regulation, SIGMAR1 inhibition, and liposomal drug delivery systems for head and neck cancer treatment.

He has published extensively in molecular biology and cancer journals, serving as Associate Editor for MedComm Biomaterials and Applications (2022–Present) and Frontiers in Oral Health (2021–Present). He also acts as an ad hoc reviewer for multiple journals, including Current Issues in Molecular Biology (2024–Present).
