Andrew Springer

Andrew Springer is an Associate Professor at the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health in Austin, Texas. He is affiliated with the Michael & Susan Dell Center for Healthy Living and holds a position in the Department of Health Promotion & Behavioral Sciences. His work focuses on improving health outcomes for children and adolescents through socio-ecological approaches.

Research Interests: Springer’s research addresses adolescent health promotion, physical activity, childhood obesity prevention, and the epidemiology of health behaviors in Latin America. He examines how socio-ecological factors shape health outcomes, with a particular emphasis on regional populations.
