Andrew Rys is a Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Kansas State University's College of Engineering. His research encompasses low-temperature testing of CMOS circuits, characterization of AlN/BN thin films for optoelectronic applications, and device modeling.
He contributed to semiconductor epitaxial growth, laser annealing of III-V compounds, and SiC power MOSFET development. Awards include an NSF CAREER Award and a U.S. patent.
