Dr Andrew Pippos is a Lecturer in Writing at the Faculty of Design and Society, University of Technology Sydney. He is a writer of fiction and narrative nonfiction, with his debut novel Lucky's (Picador, 2020) shortlisted for the Miles Franklin literary award. His research focuses on creative writing practice, narrative structure, and literary form, informed by his doctorate in creative arts from UTS in 2018.
His recent publications include a book chapter on temporal ordering in fiction and creative works exploring themes of family, cultural evolution, and Australian identity. Pippos has presented at major literary festivals and contributed to academic journals like Meanjin and The Sydney Review of Books.
