Professor Andrew Parry is a theoretical physicist and Deputy Head of the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London. He holds the rank of Professor of Statistical Physics and has affiliations with Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Physics sections. His career includes roles as Head of the Mathematical Physics Section (2000-2005) and Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Physics section (2006-2012). He has been a visiting Professor at the University of Wuppertal, Germany, and currently holds a Chair of Excellence at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
Education:
- Undergraduate (UG) and PhD in Physics at Bristol University under Prof Bob Evans FRS.
