Andrew Levin

Andrew Levin is an Associate Professor of Government and International Relations at Connecticut College, joining in 2016. His research focuses on United Nations peacekeeping, sub-national dynamics of peacekeeping in civil wars, and countries' decisions to commit personnel to UN operations.

Levin utilizes GIS to analyze UN peacekeeper deployment patterns and effectiveness at local levels. His work bridges international relations theory with empirical conflict studies.

He teaches courses on International Politics, International Organizations, Civil Wars, and International Conflict Resolution, contributing to the Government and International Relations department's academic offerings.
