Andrew Hudson

Andrew Hudson is a Professor of Biophysical Chemistry at the Institute for Structural and Chemical Biology at the University of Leicester, UK. He leads the LINXS Community's Chemistry of Life theme and serves as a LINXS Fellow.

• Specializes in fluorescence imaging techniques for single-molecule dynamics
• Developed genetically-encoded sensors for measuring in vivo haem concentrations via fluorescence lifetime imaging
• Focuses on RNA splicing mechanisms, including splice-site selection and spliceosome assembly
